Who Am I
Growing up I was a normal healthy child except from the occasional hospital visit.
My mum also had another child summer who is 4 she was diagnosed at birth with cystic fibrosis also.
When I turned 11 I became very unwell I had to wear oxygen at night and go into hospital every month for 2 weeks. The doctors decided that I would benefit from a lung transplant. I was totally against the whole idea all I could think was I am going to die what if it shortens my life I was not educated enough on transplants to know.
2 years went by and I had to go into hospital even more and was on oxygen 24/7 I could hardly get my self dressed without gasping for air. So in January 2014 I was placed on the list after a lot and I mean a lot of thinking and chatting to people who had it done.
On the 9th of October 2014 at 5:30 am I received the call I had been waiting for, I am slowly recovering from the operation and doing really well. Check out my blog to stay updated!
